What are good ad examples? 12 real Meta ads, by type
The best ad examples show one clear thing and make one ask: a product, an offer or a problem solved, then a single button. Each of the 12 real Meta ads below pairs a plain visual with a specific line and a Shop now, Learn more, Get quote or Call now button.

What are good examples of product image ads?
Product image ads work when the picture makes the claim for you. Keep the picture plain, the line short and the button obvious. Shopify says ad copy should highlight benefits, share a testimonial or address a customer pain point. For more of this format, see our page of static ad examples.

Bellroy: the same wallet at Day 1 and Day 1000
The picture proves the claim about leather that ages well, so the caption can stay one sentence. Nothing else competes with the two wallets.

Georgetown Pottery: a tide clock on stone
One product, one clean shot and a line, "Stay in sync with the sea!", that says what the clock does.

Lovesac: a sofa with proof built into the image
A customer quote, five stars and a feature bar (Changeable Styles, Machine Washable, 100-Year Warranty) answer the usual doubts before anyone clicks.

What are good examples of offer and price ads?
Offer ads work when the deal can be read in one look. All three below put the price or the steps inside the image, so the reader does not need the caption.

Happytiles: a big sale with the new price struck out
The old price crossed out beside "$89" for 16 tiles, plus a code, makes the saving readable in a second.

The Sticky Brand: 100 stickers for $19
The offer is in both the headline and the image, and a hand holding the sticker shows its real size.

Project Repat: shirts to a quilt in 3 steps
A hard-to-picture service becomes three numbered steps, and "Starting at $45" takes away the fear of price.

What are good examples of video ads?
Shopify says videos under 15 seconds tend to perform best and that you should capture attention in the first three seconds. The three below run 74, 54 and 28 seconds. All are still active, which shows the advertiser keeps them, not that they pay off. For more, see our collection of Facebook video ad examples.

Ocean Beach Pallet CO: a maker carrying the finished unit
Seeing the piece made and carried shows its size and craft, and the copy talks to the buyer's love of music, not the storage unit.

Dolly Delight: a selfie-style reaction video
A woman tearing up as she holds the doll and photo card looks like a customer clip, not a studio ad, and the emotion carries the gift angle.

Man Crates: prying open the gift crate
Opening the crate is the product demo, and the headline "Don't Forget His Birthday!" names the occasion.

What are good examples of local and service ads?
Local and service ads sell trust and a next step, such as a quote or a call. Meta's Ads Guide allows 2 to 10 cards in a carousel, and our page of carousel ad examples covers more.

Howards Van Line: a moving quote offer
"Long Distance Only - Starting at $1595" sets scope and price, "60 years of experience" adds trust, and the button is Get quote.

Homer Tree Care: a crane job at a real house

How do you make your own ad like these?
Copy the structure, not the photos or wording.
- Pick the type that fits what you sell: product picture, offer, video or quote-driven service ad.
- Search your niche in the Meta Ad Library. Buffer says to search your niche's keywords and take inspiration from the ads currently running, and each listing shows the date the ad started. The library is a searchable database of ads running across Meta products. Here is our guide to using the Facebook Ad Library.
- Write one hook line and choose one button, as every ad above does.
- Make the creative. Keep video short and put the hook first.
- Launch it and check results before you change anything.
We built ScaleShot for steps 3 to 5. It learns your store from your link, logo, colours, fonts and voice, then the Ads Agent makes image and short video ads and launches them to your connected Meta account, asking before any change. The 2-week plan is $19.95 for the first 2 weeks, then $42 every 2 weeks, with 500 credits per period; a Fast image costs 10 credits, an HQ image 20 and video 10 credits per second. It runs Meta only, does not guarantee sales and does not include ad spend, which Meta bills separately. For the full process, read our guide to making an ad.

Common ad examples questions
What is an example of an ad?
A simple one is Bellroy's image ad (A1): two wallets labelled "Day 1" and "Day 1000", a one-sentence claim about ageing leather and a Shop now button.
Does a long-running ad mean it works?
No. A long run shows the advertiser keeps paying for it, not that it brings sales. We checked the Meta Ad Library for this guide and counted days from each ad's start date.
How do I find ad examples in my niche?
Search your keywords in the Meta Ad Library, which shows active ads, their creative, call-to-action, landing page and start date. Ads about politics and issues are the exception, as inactive ones are also searchable.
Should I use an image, a video or a carousel?
AdManage says to use an image when the idea lands in one frame, video when motion or proof does the selling, and a carousel when the sale needs sequence or several products.
How long should a video ad be?
Shopify says videos under 15 seconds tend to perform best on Facebook, and the first three seconds should capture attention. It also recommends subtitles, because many people watch with sound off.
