What do good AI ad examples look like?

Good AI ad examples open with a human hook in the first seconds, show the product or result, and read fine with the sound off. Below are five AI video ads from the Meta Ad Library and five ScaleShot outputs, each with a one-line reason it works.

What do AI UGC video ads look like in the wild?

These five come from AI tool makers advertising AI video, so they show the format at its most direct. We checked them in the Meta Ad Library for this guide. Meta describes the Ad Library as "a comprehensive, searchable database for ads transparency". A long run time tells you an advertiser kept an ad going. It does not prove the ad made money.

The pattern to copy: a person talking to camera, one plain sentence, a clear next step. If you want more formats beyond video, see our Facebook ad examples.

Arcads AI video ad

Arcads AI: an AI presenter admits it is AI

It opens with a question the viewer is already asking, "I'm AI-generated, but I look real, right?", then shows the tool working on screen.

Mr. Paid Social video ad

Mr. Paid Social: a man in a cap announces an update

A single person talks straight to camera with a bold first line, "the biggest update in the history of ad creation", and the copy states "I'm 100% AI" up front.

AdCreative.ai video ad

AdCreative.ai: a model holds a shirt

It speaks to fashion sellers who lack studios, and pairs a simple visual (holding a folded shirt) with a stated offer in the headline.

rememe_influencer video ad

rememe_influencer: "This is not a real person"

The disclosure is the hook. The on-screen text says it was made in 10 minutes with AI, which makes the claim easy to check.

Runway video ad

Runway: a chef at a ramen counter

A local-business scene (food, street, a person talking) shows what creator-style video can look like, and the copy names the exact result it promises.

What can an AI ad generator make for a small brand?

These five are our own outputs, taken from the ScaleShot homepage gallery. Four are image ads for product brands and one is a frame from an AI UGC creator video. They are the kind of image ads you can run as single images, and our guide to static ad examples covers more of that format.

Each one has one headline, one product and a few proof points. None of them needed a photo shoot.

ScaleShot: popcorn bag on a stone plinth

One headline, "IT'S POPCORN. ELEVATED.", and a badge strip (non-GMO, gluten free, air popped, small batches) answer why it costs more.

ScaleShot: lilac candle among glass spheres

Minimal copy, a strong colour match between product and set, and a Shop Now button give a clear single action.

ScaleShot: collage-style dog food ad

The playful collage look matches the tone of the headline, "Food they'll lose it over.", and four benefit lines cover the practical questions.

ScaleShot: AI UGC creator frame

A selfie-style shot in sportswear on a sidewalk looks like a creator's phone clip, which is the feel UGC-style ads aim for.

What do the best AI ad examples have in common?

Superside says winning AI ads are "anchored to the brand", that humans own the ideas and final creative decisions, and that the teams behind them measure what performs. For a small store that means: feed the tool your real logo, colours and product, then pick the ads yourself.

On video, Meta reports that up to 47% of a video campaign's value is delivered in the first three seconds. It also says captioned video ads increase view time by an average of 12%. So the hook goes first, and the captions go on.

Two of the Library ads (A1, A4) say outright that they are AI. A5 promises ads that look creator-made. Both approaches run on Meta; pick the one that suits your brand's voice.

How to make your own AI ads

  1. Pick one product and one hook. Borrow a structure, not a creative: a question opener like A1, or a benefit-badge layout like A6.
  2. Make a few versions. In ScaleShot a Fast image costs 10 credits, an HQ image 20, and video 10 credits per second, so a 6-second clip is 60 credits.
  3. Add captions and keep the first three seconds on the hook.
  4. Check what others in your category run in the Meta Ad Library before you launch.
  5. Connect your Meta ad account and launch. The Ads Agent asks before it changes anything.

ScaleShot's entry plan is $19.95 for the first 2 weeks, then $42 every 2 weeks, with a 14-day money-back guarantee. We run Meta (Facebook and Instagram) only, we do not promise sales, and Meta bills ad spend separately.

For comparison, Runway lists Standard at $12/month billed annually. AdCreative.ai starts at $39/month. Arcads does not publish prices on its homepage. See the best AI ad generators or the AI ad generator page for more.

Common AI ad examples questions

Did Coca-Cola do an AI ad?

Yes. Superside lists Coca-Cola's "Create Real Magic" among its AI ad examples. It is a big-brand campaign, so use it for ideas, not as a budget guide.

Can I copy an ad from the Meta Ad Library?

Copy the structure (hook, offer, format), not the creative. The Library shows active ads from across Meta's products.

How much do AI ad tools cost?

Published prices vary: Runway Standard is $12/month billed annually, AdCreative.ai starts at $39/month, and Arcads shows no price on its homepage. Prices change.
